A two-part installation at the Windsor, Colorado Recreation Center- the piece takes it’s inspiration from the topography of the underground bedrock of the nearby Chache la Poudre River to form a freestanding monument sign at the street and a wall-mounted sign at the building entrance, making visible hidden aspects of a vital natural resource. Made of metal panels in 5 different colors, the piece is backlit with LEDs to transition is presence catching sunlight during the day to supplying light at night.
